Marta...

was born in Rome  and at five years old began to study dance at the “Accademia Nazionale di Danza” in Rome. Later, she studied music at the “Conservatorio Arrigo Boito” in Parma and then Modern Foreign Languages at “La Sapienza”, the University of Rome. She was a student of and then assistant to Angelo Corti and Marise Flach, both known for their work on mime choreography for the theatre directors Giorgio Strehler and Luca Ronconi.

 Marta made her theatrical debut in 1979. She danced in historical dance tours in England, Spain, Belgium, Yugoslavia, USSR, etc.  She also performed as a mime and acted in dramas, both in television and cinema. From 1986 to 1995, Marta taught at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome and from 1984 to 1987, at the Experimental Centre of Cinematography at Cinecittà. Since 1982, she has been a choreographer in many Italian and international opera houses.  Some of the most significant productions are:



Marta's philosophy is to enrich stylistic unity and balance on stage through creative movement. She attends all staging, musical and choreography rehearsals, striving to embody the dramatic energy while interpreting the vision of the theatrical director. Her conviction that each artist proceeds according to his or her artistic dynamics requires individual working methods. This diversity of vision ​​flows into an artistic unity of enormous human value.
